I was looking for Corn Crop Circle and didn't know about Corn Mazes. Corn Maze is what I should have been looking for (see my earlier post on NASA Corn maze). Including the target template for you guys too. Isn't resynthesizer grand? lol

:)

Nice Lyle thanks a bunch!
I went ahead and added it here for all us lazy people, and for those who do not have the Resynth plug-in.

Just open the image and save as pattern. :)

Seamless Pattern's cool too but with Resynthesiser, it is not necessary. Typing this message in Ubuntu by the way since I'm attempting the Ocelot upgrade (wish me luck; lol). What a slow download/install process. According to the progress meter, I have over 3 and a half more hours before it's done (now it just jumped to 2 hours 16 minutes; guess everyone and their brother is installing the update now. lol). Oh well. No playing until it's all done so I guess I'll do what O's doing (browsing and commenting; lol) but only for a few more hours. :)

edit: no reason to start another reply. Looks like the OS is hosed (starts to boot then freezes; going to give it 30 minutes; then, if nothing happens, I'll just recover back to Narwhal. Oh well; should have know from Meerkat that upgrades don't work. lol

:)

Lyle Ubuntu upgrade always work !
Except if you did some changes for example installing additional programs as Gimp

Then ubuntu upgrade never work !!

I will not even try i have both KDE and Gnome , try to upgrade will be hopeless i am finishing a back up, and then i will wipe away everything

I installed GIMP; maybe that was the culpret. It did say it wanted to uninstall some programs and such as well as removed non useable programs. Still, I'm keeping Narwhal for now. :)

Open the XCF file that I provide alonte. Then create a target that has just 3 colors (black, white, and grey). Then run Resynthesizer with the sample texture being the corn sample, the input map being the mask that is also included in the XCF file that I provided, and the output map being your 3 color target. :)
