GIMP Experience: Beginner Level



Guys is there a plug in or script to curve waves like a serfing wave. I had put an xcf file and see what you can do with it.

I don't know of any scripts or plug-ins but you can do quite a bit just playing around with images of waves with layers set to grain merge or just using some brushes like these.

Lorri, experiment with all the modes, especially Overlay and Grain Merge. Here's Yours and mine combined and tweaked just a bit with a blurring tool and a fuzzy eraser tool to smooth the edges where the images overlap. Overlay mode also helps to remove the dark spots where they overlap.

By alternately turning off layers you can look at each individual layer, the mode and the effect of each one. Hope this helps.

To add foam to the waves also Lighten Only mode is useful
