Well, Lyle, I love playing around with new scripts and adding suggestions to see if they can be implemented. Keeps my imagination on its toes.

This script is definitely worth playing with and even v01 was great. It just keeps getting better.

O: that would be so cool, if it blinked the eyes, in different places.

I meant more like the eyes, shutting and opening, instead of the black.

Ah! Gotcha. That too would be better. Maybe lids at half mast, then closed.

Changes come pretty quick at this stage of the development cycle. :hehe

Nice images O & Molly.

I still have a little more testing and experimenting to do on the path stoke and fill. It needs a little tweaking. I think I'll add back in the transparent stroke approach, as an option. You can get different results from that approach.

If you see any bugs, unexpected results or things that could be improved, please let me know.

I wanted to add texture to this dragon image but wanted to keep the colors. I made a tranparent image, copied it to the clipboard and used the transparency as the pattern.

Alpha to selection on the dragon and shrink by 3 (to preserve the stroke).

I used the scales pattern for the bump map. After I ran the script, I selected things like the eyes, tooth, horns and claws from the original image layer, grew them by 1 and deleted them on the bump layer

I have a ton of dragonscale patterns in 4 sizes each and about 8 or 10 color schemes. If anybody is interested just let me know and I'll zip 'em up and post them. I finally had to try my hand at this but didn't turn out as good as yours O. I also attached one of the sample patterns I thought was really nice.

Now why does that not surprise me, you with the name of Draconian? Cool scales! I nabbed them. Image

The pattern I used on that last dragon was Snake Skin. It's a texture/pattern I've had for a long time and I don't even know where I got it. It looks like it may have been made with a brush. It's not seamless either, but it does have its uses. Here is an image of it and I've attached the pattern file below.

Playing with the translucent text layer, I came up with some pretty cool results. I probably need to enhance the code to give more of an effect like this...
