i like the colors very thick that 's why you can't see the canvas texture

For WIld Cartonizer was Wild C -Blotch (should be in the preset i posted on the Wild C topic) that did the main effect

then i used Mescalito on a dup and i merged in color mode with low opacity

If you want i may upload the xcf but there, in the xcf only the 3 upper layers are relevant
