This is kind of a neat program that creates animations with svg. (vector images)
I will definitely have to play with this some more. =)

I downloaded it and will need to play with it! I love playing with any graphics software. It looks like it might work out with my bamboo tablet.

Anybody have any success with Pencil? I was at SourceForge last night, downloaded and had a look. It seems to have potential, it's too bad no one is developing it since 2008.

Attention Windows users:
The movie export function has not been implemented yet (only works on the Mac). At the moment (0.4.4b) the Windows version can only export frames and Flash files. Any help would be appreciated.

that should not be a problem i mean export frames is what needed to get good video files i will not dare save directly as avi too easy mess up with the option and obtain a unusable video, with all frames saved you may redo, saving directly as video would be not fail-back
