Maybe lylejk have a idea of how the "simple"PS filter -center tile- works

For me is a mistery also because the effect may be completly different on different images...no dialog nothing click and go..

But what amzed me is that the result even if a bit imprevedible is often very good( and seamless)

used here

Center Tile is one of my favorite Simple filter presets PC. I like calling the usual 4 different quadrants Air, Water, Earth, and Fire (just mental of course; lol).
