haha, I agree that he is too cool for one pair. He was definitely super cool when he was Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages on Broadway! Maybe the extra pair is the one stolen from him in the ray-ban advertisement!

nice video...using wind is a nice touch. This is very similar to how I did mine, although I used a white layer mask on the middle layer instead of eraser brush. I like how this guy explains everything so thoroughly.

Try playing around with this script for making sunrays. After making your rays, try some spread noise, blur then reduce the opacity. Just keep messing with it until it looks real. Cool script. Can't remember where I saw it, maybe a thread here someplace.

I have the script and the dialogue comes up, but nothing happens except I get errors. Do I have to make a selection, or do I just run it. I tried both.

In my haste, I neglected to include the other file that has to be in your scripts folder to make it work properly. Here it is.

Edit: I'm going to get another cup of coffee now. I messed up big time. This is not what I wanted to post. This is more of a lighting effect than a "ray" effect. It was a set of brushes I got somewhere (maybe DA) called "Light Burst". There is another set I use sometimes called Light Beams. Just have to dig around and find where I got 'em from.

I am not too impressed with that RSS thang. Anyway, your brushes look more enticing.

I just edited my last post with a couple of links to the brushes. I agree with you on the RSS. It's like workng with the Python Layer Effects. Takes some getting used to and a lot of trial and error.

what is that gel script?

It is the companion script for the RSS script. You have to have both scripts in your folder or the RSS script just keeps throwing errors. Don't know why or how it works, no clue regarding script writing.
