MeetTheGimp is a series of very good Video tut, as now the most complete..from the first step with gimp till quite advanced tips

you may get all of them with a single Torrent http://www.jesusda.com/docs/ebooks/meet ... d1.torrent
where are also included also all the extra files, all the materials can be useful to complete the Tutorial

Download may be a bit slow but is worth..to make it quicker ..well don't close your torrent SW at soon the download is finished

but please seed..seed ...seed...

In this case is perfectly legal so first grab but don't forget to share....to seed a bit to keep the torrent alive and the DL faster

@GNUTUX

Not sure if this is the best board...but i would suggest to pin this somewhere...is really a good resource 2 years of work of a good team

How big is the file? I always intend to watch these but can never find the time. 2 years of catch up is a lot.

It is a gigantic file about 4GB ..
Will be hopeless try to download if was not a torrent, but torrent are not only usually faster but you may stop/resume without problem

Of course also the all the individual tuts are available as "normal" download or as torrent

I just left Vuze always running in background for a ..a few days of days (but i was also seeding )

Also my Asdl is quite crappy but i had a "Flat" contract:
i pay for month not for quantity of traffic,...i think similar download are worth for who has similar contract

I

GnuTux had RSS feeds for these and also Gimpology. Perhaps we can talk him into putting up those feeds again. You could watch one at a time and browse the archives for older ones.

You wouldn't have to store it on your computer. You'd have access via Internet.

I was talking about the torrent. You do have to store that one.

That RSS feed streams it? :) Cool. : :cool

The RSS feed takes you to the latest one, you still have to wait for it to load before it plays.

I can't imagine storing all of them. I'd never watch them all. There is good info in them though. I figure as gimp changes so will the information about it and I'm willing to let bygones be bygones.
