ok, so I have an old dinosaur of a computer. It doesn't help that I have my bookmarks pinned along the side, lol, so I have to scroll a lot more than most people anyway.

alas, mine is to, as is my wife's. Woe is me. (1024 x 768 that is, in all other ways I'm doing fine.)

1024 * 768 for me and its still and old chunky CRT monitor, when I upgraded my computer a couple of years back was on a budget and as there was nothing wrong with the monitor so spent the money on a better tower rather than a package.

I use 1920x1200.
Most widescreen monitors are 1920x1080 but I don't like that, too stretched out.
Frankly I'd prefer 4x3.Most digital camera's use that.
Most postcards are 3x2 however.
It's a real mess IMHO.
Gerard.

I always need to use a high resolution, since I deal daily with large orchestral music scores that have to be displayed on the monitor. So, I use 1920x1200 and I would gladly use a higher one, would it be possible… I have an iMac.
