This is a concept art based off of my story I'm working on, the basic idea is that there is another side of Mei which she never was told about, she finds out that she has dark blood from a close relative she never met but heard had died and that's it.
The(se) face(s) in this drawing is her face if she picks to stay her bright and happy self or become what she once hated the sight of that she now knows is in her very blood.

Made totally in GIMP, and I used a mouse, with some pathing using the shape tools and shift click.
The heart was from a font and I colored it in.
NO TABLET!

Untold heritage, discolored blood has uttered her voice,
Who is this man who fled and now tells me of a choice?
Untold heritage, the choice is mine,
Pick the darkness or pick the light?

(We shall see what she pics.)

Granted she's an animal not a person but it's sounds weird saying "who's this rabbit?". lol

I hope you guys enjoy it.

CnC Welcomed!

~ God Bless ~

You are very very talented...thanks for showing your work...it is an inspiration that encourages me to try more things. PS:...I use a mouse, also, but not as well as you do. I have seen more of your work somewhere...all very nice...can not recall where it was though...I have been bouncing around alot try to get all the tips that I can to learn the program.

Oo, thank you very much for the compliment! It's encouraging to know I'm encouraging! :D

I could write out some of the tricks I did for this drawing to make things even, since it was with a mouse I did some "cheats" like with making things on the face perfect and stuff using paths.

@ Odin:
Yes! Was hard work for the outline :gaah , the coloring was actually the easiest part. xD
I'm glad you liked it! :D

@Esper:
Thank you! :D

Moko, I don't think your brain is too weird when you are doing your designs

Sometimes, when see your artworks, Moko, I think to myself that someday in the future, I will see some famous art and I will recognize it as yours! You have a very delightful style, and are very talented in how you execute it.

The right side sure looks evil :D I think deeper shadows on the right would bring that side out more, and contrast with the subtler shadows and pastels on the left.
