my new wallpaper, made with graechan's impact script :). the ray of lights effect reminds me of the classic "going into hyperspace" effects in sf movies, so my paisleys became "hyperspaisleys"...

I'm a big fan of paisley, so I think it looks really cool. :bigthup

graechan: i don't get it - do you think there's something wrong with my paisleys? i didn't take the result from the script as it was (i very rarely do), i tweaked it this way and that before i got what i was after - and what i was after was this look :).
wallace: yay, another paisley enthusiast :). thank you!
sallyanne: thank you! you're allowed to call these "warp speed paisleys", then ;)! i'm more of a star wars fan myself, so i naturally thought of it as the hyperspace effect. but just so you don't write me off as a hopeless case i can tell you i have two devoted trekker friends who have started to get me to appreciate the finer points of star trek :).
rod: thank you :)! i love making new wallpapers for my laptop.
erisian: thank you :)! but really, if no one booked han solo for speeding, then why should my poor innocent paisleys be? :hoh there's got to be some sort of justice in this solar system!

I like it, but then I like everything you do. It reminds me of the 60s. FYI there is a photoshop plugin called Luce Tutorial and example Here that does nice work too. It can be found Here

Xnview or Irfanview will run photoshop plugins.

gms9810: i've always stubbornly refused to use xnview to run photoshop plug-ins before and i will keep refusing - either someone shows up and writes one of those thingys for gimp, or i will do without.
