When trying to add a frame to image under script_fu_add_frame, i get the above error message!
Also get error message when i try to add mats!
How can that be fixed?

did you add a selection to the layer you want to add the frame to. -> Select -> ALL

But you do need the latest version of the script as there are faulty versions around...

I recommend you delete the script file you have now and download the latest from: http://gimpscripts.com/2011/10/mats-and-frames/

Yes i did. Actually tried in different ways, but always same error!

When i downloaded the gimp, had no idea that i needed all the "extras" in the gimp to work it. So dont even remember where i got all that stuff from.
So now my question is, where do i go and delete those files?
To be honest the gimp is still confusing to me.

haha, yes you need a few "extras"
when i learned Gimp i was under the impression that everything i wanted to do had to be done with just the Gimp program

but there are tons of useful scrips out there that you will probably need at some time in the future
and this is really the great thing about Gimp

as you can add stuff you like, and have your own custom Gimp thats suited to your needs
installing new stuff is pretty simple: there are folders in your user/Gimp for brushes, fonts, gradients, patterns and scripts
and all you have to do is put the file in the right place
