This is very nice. :yes

Get the plug-in here: http://registry.gimp.org/node/24934

You have to go quite a way to get to the filter.

File > Create > Web page themes > http://www.bytes-and-pixels.com > Glossy button 01

I changed the location of mine to <Image>/Filters/Web/Glossy button 01

Is that a window reflection in the button? That's pretty neat! I actually turned to look at the window over my right shoulder before I remembered 1) I don't have 4-pane windows in my house, and 2) It's very dark outside. :lol

This is a cool script, I like it :)

Although it would still be easy to create even without the script, but time is the essence :)

I've been pondering how to make a round button. This one is either round or very close. I made the size 180x180 and the radius 100 (as high as it would go).

If you make w & h the same, and the radius 100, it will make round ones in different sizes.

Someone should hang curtains in that window before passers-by peek in and see our secrets... :rofl

Your looks cool but if you feel lazy you may try " Round Web 2.0 Button with a Metal Ring"
that make cool round

or oval buttons

I can't help myself with trying to combine elements of different scripts ... it's an addiction. Or perhaps a disease. ;)

Radial gradient, Reverse, Offset 20, Adaptive Supersampling enabled, , FG# 333333, BG# ffffff, stroke top to bottom.
Shrink selection 25px, then stroke bottom to top with same settings.

Oh that first one with the reflection would make a nice interface for a dial gauge, or speedometer. =)
