This one took a while. I haven't done a landscape on this scale before.

Image is link to bigger version

It's an illustration of a scene where Mara's (lower right) reflection has escaped her mirror and ran off. She tracks it down to a banquet in honor of the baron - who is hard to make out but you can see him at the top of the steps, in the middle of the five arches. He's the one wearing Carolina Blue.

Of course, Mara's reflection (middle left) doesn't have a reflection of its own.

I love this painting Merrack. I've grown quite fond of Mara since your first.

Barbie - they are amazing animations. Is there a script for that?

Wow, that's a pretty slick animation... almost makes me want to make a little movie out of the scene.

Animating Mara would probably be difficult, although - if you look closely at some of the scenes from the older, traditionally animated Disney movies, you can see the characters themselves have relatively simple shading and coloring. The backgrounds are much more elaborate.

Maybe GAP can do that - but I might have better luck cracking open my OpenGL book and GCC.

You could do a subtle ping-pong movement with I-Warp.

I was thinking about having her run around.
Although, if I was going to go to that much trouble, I'd animate the puppets scene. [Thread]

That would probably be easier if you could use something like Blender. Trouble is, that takes a lot of learning and boning a model for animation isn't easy. Maybe if you could pivot layers for the main moving parts? It's still a heck of a lot of work though!
