I downloaded the zip file and I'm not sure how or where to install the brushes, gradients, dynamics, & the tool-presets. The download instructions are hard to read.

If you are using Windows
C:\Users\[user]\.gimp-2.8\brushes\
or
C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\share\gimp\2.0\brushes\ and

home/user/.gimp-2.8/brushes if you are using Linux.
I am not quite sure of the path in windows but that is where you place all your brushes, gradients, scripts, plug-ins etc.

Are you referring to LayersFX? Is this a script you are referring too?

In the brushbox download, there is a dynamics folder & I'm not sure where to place all the dynamic files like the bb smudge, bb paint, bb special, & bb texture. They are all different folders.

The same with the tool presets, they are all in different folders & I'm not sure where to put them.

In Linux, the dynamics folder is under curves. I would place those in that folder. /home/molly/.gimp-2.8/dynamics

/home/molly/.gimp-2.8/tool-presets/
You will see the folders listed in this below.
