These were created using the "Pipe Dreams" typeface. - Attached

Wanted to use "Water Works" but that costs money. :)
The pattern is my rust pattern which can be found here - http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t ... =20#p93609
Use them however you wish. Perhaps i will add to it later or create a PHF file with them. :bigthup

They seem a little bit bright to me in places otherwise very nice texture Rod. oh I see, maybe if you put a darker color behind the pipes (instead of transparency) they would view better on the GimpChat white background

Yes you just need to put any background behind the letters. :)

Yes it should compliment Wallaces most excellent pipe font quite nicely. :)

Thanks PC. I still need to find a place to upload the PHF file to.
Maybe simplygimp.com i am not sure yet.

Those are nice looking changes. I created this pipe set, (with a typeface, and texture), and Wallace created a different one. His is from scratch though and much better. :)

Hope to create a PHF with Wallaces also.

I did create some brushes from these too.

I start using my Google Drive not sure if there is a max file size for upload (if a limit i don't touch it yet).
quick and free, some GB of storing place, several option to share (or not )

On DA you may submit till 30MB (maybe even more now ? ) and hotlinking is supported and accepted

I decided to upload to simply gimp (my website).
http://www.simplygimp.com/downloads/zip/PIPES_RD.zip

Unzip the PHF file to your documents/photofonts folder. OR
Open Gimp, and go to Filters>Fontlab>Photofont start> open the program dialog widget and select install photofonts. Browse to the PHF file you downloaded and select it. Photofont will auto install it for you.
You MUST have Photofont Start installed in order to install this photofont.

The PHF font will be installed right away and you can begin using it in Photofont Start.
Example:
Image

This font was created with ONLY caps , some punctuation marks, and numbers. No small letters were added ... yet. :)

Oh by the way make sure you make your layer the correct size for your rendered text. :)
I always use a background (white) layer and then another transparent layer. I select the transparent layer and start photofont start. That way my text is rendered on transparency. Much easier to work with. :bigthup

It isn't that hard really.
You do not need the nonembedded phf file unless you want to create your own photofonts with Gimp. :)
Here are some simple instructions.
1) download and install PSPI.
2) download and install photofont start.
3) grab my paperclip phf file from one of those links above and throw it in the documents/photofonts folder.
4) open gimp
5) go to Filters>Photoshop plugin settings.
6) create a path to your photofontstart 8bf file.
7) restart Gimp.
8) go to Filters>Fontlab>Photofont Start
9) search for paperclip in the drop down and there you go. :)
10) enjoy!

Wait for new PHF files as i create them (there will be more).
When i create a new one i will release it here and you just place the phf in your documents/photofonts folder.
Open the filter and find the new font in the drop down list.

Easy Peasy. :bigthup
