Can't publish right now, still have an issue with "loose strokes" at extremities:

Basically you give two paths and a number of steps, and it joins the two paths by Bezier splines. Above with two golden spirals, the feather is three paths, the central stem and the top and bottom outlines.

There are of course a couple options, like the size, the incidence angle and the bending... Hours of fun in perspective...
