The GfxTablet project might interest some of the members here. The software permits using an Android tablet as a graphics pad. I have not yet tried it, but it claims to support pressure sensitivity and to be easily incorporated into GIMP.

Considering the discount prices available for some of the Android devices, this might provide an economical alternative to the graphics pads that are out there.

Hallo wished I could use it but it work only with Linux Gimp. If there is Version Windows, the app immediately on Tablet.

Huh, that's an interesting variation to it.

It's a nice idea but for me personally I think the screen-drawing to be the main draw of sketching on the tablet. The cheapest Wacom tablet does not put you back all that much (there are even cheaper alternatives too). But for people already having a tablet and want to try it out with GIMP I guess it's cool. :)
