I'm a big fan of fairies. Did you paint this or did you put it together from other images?

I'm impressed. Did you use fairy brushes or did you paint them all separately? Did you paint the woods as well? The woods are professional quality artwork and after 48 years of living, I still can't paint like that. It's a very enchanting piece.

me too Eris. Griatch is the only one I have seen that can paint like that. I find woods are very hard to paint to make the light shine through the trees like that.

Wow! How long did it take? I'm good at figures and faces but environment is really difficult.

the forest in the background is actually not painted at all. it's a photo montage/manipulation made by a deviantart member who makes really nice things of that kind - follow erisian's link and you'll see what i mean.
