Anybody know some free program that may convert spoken words in text ?

Even with limitations , as the words to be spoken clearly and slowly

Win 7/8 speech recognition? Just type 'speech recognition' in Start menu.

I have Siri on my ipad and that is speech recognition, works great. As PC says talk slow and make the words clear or you will end up with words you never heard of.

Dragon Naturally Speaking, if you can find a copy online, works as well as anything I've ever used.

Windows Accessibility has Speech Recognition to text.
If you don't mind using the Google API in Chrome, have a look at Dictation.
Digital Inspiration has a review, Dictation – Speech Recognition in the Browser.

Thank for the tips
Do you have first hand experience of use ?

My doubt is for the languages ,
if i feel confident that will work decently for Italian , because even if i have some slight speech defect (= my L sound close to a N , and my R is ...very soft , has not "roaring", ) my pronounce is correct and without dialectal distortions
.. i fear my spoken English quite far from correct ( even if clear for most humans , ...but here maybe is my mimic helps to make it clear ... )

Basically somebody tried to use speech recognition in a foreign language , a language that knows but not perfectly ?
