Got inspired by this image and decided to create something similar with wave distortion effect. The choice of US flag was obvious - because of its complex star box, but I would try to do
UK, Canadian and other flags as well. If you can suggest any national flag you think is challenging, please, let me know.

k1tesseraena: excellent job on the rippling on both flags! as a picture i think the close up cut of the us flag looks best, but i guess that's not the main point here - you're out looking for challenges, not pleasing pictures. i wonder if you didn't get the british flag wrong, though - don't the red diagonals cross in the middle?

hmm... how about making the canadian flag next? the maple leaf might make a bit of a challenge. the australian flag too could be fun.

The Uk flag looks good, I would call it the union jack but your only supposed to call it that if its flying from a ship.
