Bonjour,

This software package is a demonstrator for G'MIC in command lines operating only on 64-bit Windows.
This is a test version. If it's interesting I suggest a script to do this automatically.
It is possible to open many types of images with G'MIC : jpeg , png , tiff , ps , eps , pdf , bmp , xcf , xcf.gz , gif , ppm , cimg , cimg.gz , raw ...
For correct operation you must extract the archive GMIC-64bit-WIN.7z in C:\ for C:\GMIC-64bit-WIN
To start the demonstration, click C:\GMIC-64bit-WIN\demo.bat

Ran the demo, but after opening a few image types (the demo that is) it crashed (screen of garbage characters) and got random beep sounds samj. Still amazing all the image types that gmic can open up none the less. Decided to not try running the demo again. lol

Never did see GraphicsMagick itself launch; only displayed image boxes. Maybe GM was running in the background but not sure. :)

Bonjour,

@Lylejk
The sounds are normal ... I think it has a certain charm ... and there is no problem for the computer :hehe
If you do not like this beautiful music, you can edit the file "C:\GMIC-64bit-WIN\bin\demonstration.txt" and delete this line :
../examples/pap.xcf.gz -window[-1] -1,-1,0,-1,../examples/pap.xcf.gz -wait $temporisation -window 0,0 -remove
This decompression is the cause of the music...

Do not use gm.exe because it is a command line utility. Only GM DLLs are used by G'MIC.

I'm sorry about the music.

*****

The secret of beautiful sounds :
- Adjust the volume
- Open the terminal ( C:\GMIC-64bit-WIN\bin\Start_Terminal_With_Test_GMIC.bat )
- Type :
echo ^G
[enter]
(^G is obtained by pressing Ctrl and G simultaneously)

*****
Now I'm testing with astronomical images (.fits).
http://www.astro.uni-bonn.de/~mischa/testdata.html
I still have a lot of testing to do to get the correct images.
My first test :
gmic r.fits g.fits b.fits l.fits -gimp_decompose_channels 10,1,1,0 -negative
gmic r.fits g.fits b.fits l.fits -apply_curve[1] 1,0,0,20,255 -gimp_decompose_channels 10,1,1,0 -negative
