I have collected some simple one-klick text effects using GIMP and G`MIC.
Well, the list is not complete but it could be an inspiration for someone.

Didn't see 3D Extrusion on your list so. Nice list :bigthup
Type your text open G'MIC and select rendering>3D extrusion
Click ok. :)

G'MIC is awesome.It should be a standard Gimp plugin i think.

Excellent post, I really enjoy doing text effects and the one click method is so quick and works well too.
