I try to open GIMP today and this is what happens. I'm not sure why, however. It's never happened before. I tried restarting my computer but... Nothing. Any help?

Remove all plugins from the
UserName/.gimp-2.6/plug-ins folder (place them in another folder elsewhere) - Desktop is a good place so you don't forget where they are.
Restart Gimp-2.6

I took out the folder for plug-ins and placed it on my desktop. I also realized it's 2.6.10. So how do I restart it?

Okay now that you have removed the (Plug-ins) folder and placed it elsewhere restart Gimp-2.6.10 as you normally would. Gimp will create another pluginrc and plug-in folder again so don't worry about those two. I want to see if GIMP will now initialize.

Solved. I just downloaded the newest version of GIMP.
