I made this dock icon for my Gimp 2.8 portable, for use with RocketDock.
What do you guys think of it?

This is how it looks when used in RocketDock...

GIMP in a trunk. Take it with you wherever you go. I like the concept. :)
Did you do one in vector?

This "icon" I made is a png image, so it wasn't any different to make then any other png image, just a little on the small size.
If I were to make it an actual "icon", it would have been better to make it in vector.

Thanks Rod , but unfortunately no I didn't make one in "vector" only png.

haha, very clever. Have you thought about putting a version number on it? That way you could have more than one version in the dock.

With "RocketDock" when you point or hover over an icon on the dock the name (if you give it a name) appears over the icon.
The text you see in my screenshot is the actual name I gave to the icon and the text is the actual text I use.
I also have my Gimp 2.6 on the dock as well, but that's just an image of Wilber (far left icon). The other icon in the center, is my user folder icon for Gimp 2.6.

Yes well I think it is too. If you're interested, here's a link to their website... http://rocketdock.com/

Very nice Wallace. I have the portable GIMP too. I was thinking, that this could be incorporated nicely as a splash screen as well. :bigthup
