Have no ideal how to make it work for GIMP itself though. Node editing, whether you like it or not, is what I see as the future of editing. You automatically get self-documenting (hate the term lossless) edits by default. Only toyed with Photo Reactor and Postwork Shop Pro but do like the node editing interface. I guess working with such environments in a past life makes me see the potential that others don't. For starters, once you set up your node interface, you can re-use it for other images as well (customer filter much like Filterforge for instance; one day I'll break down and get this program. lol). :)

Node editing is the bomb. I really like Filter Forge 4 Pro. :)

I don't know exactly what node editing is but I got the impression it will make many lovely things possible such as a grid warp tool and whatever Gimp's equivalent of adjustment layers will be. I don't see how anybody can not see the potential in it!

Hi,

For one I don't know anything about using nodes but, from what I have seen done with them in Blender, I don't mind having such a feature as an extra in Gimp.

Having said that, however, my only worry is about how much space the nodes will occupy.
