:jumpclap :yes

It was a good race, minus the longest rain delay in the history of Daytona.

I was over there, but not for the race. My sister was in town doing marketing research for GM and invited us to stop by. We had no idea we were driving into a tornado zone. But, we were safe and enjoyed the visit with my sis. I'm not into racing, but I do like Jr. and glad to see he won.

:ditto to what FP said. I'm kinda burned out on NASCAR but I'm glad DJr. won. He sure has struggled over the past few years and it's good to see him back on top.

I lived in Daytona and was at the race that claimed the life of Dale Earnhardt, Sr.
While I will never watch another one in person no one needed a win more than Jr.
He has two monkeys on his back, his father's legacy and his step-mother's ill will.
He can get both off by having a good season and winning the most important race of the year certainly helps.
