Glass text tutorial

I had another crack at it...I think my eyes arent as good as they could be as its still a bit lumpy I think.

But how do You add a glass effect on a picture?
I tried scripfu glass or plastic effect,it did not work

sorry i didn't back to you right away, laundry day.

i think the explanation in this thread is pretty good.

making a white layer of what ever you want to make
glass, then turning the opacity down, and doing a new
layer from visible, use color curve to adjust tint,
then light drop shadow, hope this is useful.
