Can someone please help me figure out how to do this? I've been trying to figure out how to do splatter text. Like in this photo...Image

There isn't a link.
It's also difficult to tell what it is that you're looking accomplish for viewing the image you posted.

Do you want the text to be splatter filled, or just use as a background?

Yeah, that was a typo... No link. Just the text. I know how to do the background but can't figure out how to splatter the text.

The image you posted is very small and wouldn't show splatter very well.
If you use a larger text, just do your splatter how you want it, on a transparent layer above you text. Alpha select your text and switch to your splatter layer. Invert the selection and clear/delete the outside of the selection on your splatter layer.

Another thing I can think of is text filled with paint splatters on a Bkg of dripping paint

Or you can create text on this type of Bkg where I have thrown paint onto a black canvas

Mybe you can use a brush named SPLATS 02 that is in the group SPLATTERS (search with Google)

I would alpha to select the text layer and select the "Sparks" brush. Create a few different layers and you can Colors>colorize each layers sparks pattern. XCF attached. Hope that helps you.
