I can't see that script, but I see too many scripts in my folder. It's very probable I have duplicated them for some reason I don't know.
Here my folder.
I'm sorry I have to go out just now. I'll be here tomorrow morning. Sorry my friends.

No problem, Issabella. Now that we know where the problem is, there are several ways to code around it. I'll post a work around for you, as a temporary solution, until the math mystery can be solved.

@GnuTux
AFAIK Gimper66 removed all the scripts in his user scripts folder, not the system folder.
When I speak of a "rogue" .scm, it is the 3 special Script-Fu plugin's files I'm thinking of, viz:
- script-fu.init
- script-fu-compat.init
- script-fu-util.scm
They have the power to re-define functions for all run-time scripts.

And yet, from the screenshot in this post: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=12114&start=30#p164223 it would seem Issabella does have the proper versions supplied with Gimp 2.8.14.

...and the mystery deepens. :hehe

@Issabella, I've updated the script to hard code directional values, rather than calculate them (also replaced gimp-transform with standard gimp-translate).

Hopefully, this will fix it up for you and anyone else who is having the same issue. :bigthup

hello
I see the discussion on the 3d text
I work with windows 7 -64
to solve the problem, I deleted everything smells like gimp

I mean everything
then I downloaded gimp back on my computer
I have the gimp version 2.8.10-setup.exe 30nov 2013
below the link with a list of gimp you can download

http://download.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.8/windows/

below the list, the yellow is the one I have now downloaded
Now everything works perfect
I do not know if this helps someone, I hope so

That test for duplicate scripts is a must have in my opinion. I have had it every since Kevin Payne wrote and posted it. I remember asking in a post if such a thing existed and he came up with it the very next day.

I've never used it or found a need to install it.
Nonetheless, I'm sure it's a big time saver when it come to searching through hundreds of scripts.

Great news. Glad we were able to work around the problem with this script. :bigthup

I've split all the troubleshooting posts out of Wallace's tutorial thread and gave them a thread of their own. Didn't want to clutter up the tutorial with all the script troubleshooting and thought it would be better to have them in their own thread.
