PhotoComix, those are really cool.

Willy, use an image with a black silhouette, then duplicate the background layer, gmic and the Stained Glass filter. Merge: is set at Color Burn.

This was done with a gradient background and a black dingbat

Both of my Stained Glass filters seem to work intermittently. Neither one likes dark blue on my machine. A darkblue to lighter gradient or a blue with varying shades of blue frequently comes out solid black no matter what I do to the settings.

What version of GMIC has the Stained Glass filter? I can't find it. I'm using version 1.4.7.0.

Willy if i didn't share is only because i stumbled in same problem so is not ready yet

you may do exactly the same but in 2 steps instead then 1. first you may use the version of stained glass filter i posted on the stained glass topic then the mirror array filter

yesterday i tried again but something aagain when wrong (no error message but was as the first part of the code was skipped and most command disabled)
Today i try to remove all jingle and bells and simplify to spot the error

Refresh every time you open it, just out of habit. It's what most of us do now, since David is always adding new filters routinely.

I do believe that David and G'MIC will surpass 500 total filters very soon. :)
