Mackenzieh if you have a previous version delete all it's files and folders then install all the 'shape-creator8' files and folders All 'shape-creator8' files and folders should be installed in your user/plugins folder

Mackenzieh I'm glad you have it working :bigthup

Thanks for the update Graechan - I love this very useful script and used some of the new path/shapes for my glass ornament post.

I deleted previous shape folders and installed the new ones.
But when I want to use the shape creator I get this message

Is there something wrong in the plug-ins?

Can somebody help me?
Thanks in advance.

You need to remove one of the arakne-path-shape-creator8.py files.

I removed one of the files and restarted Gimp. But now I don’t find path under filter any more.

You should remove all remnants of the shape creator (shapes folder, and all py, and pyc files) and re install fresh. :)

I did follow your advice, Rod, but the same error message appears.
Probably I still did something wrong :(

Did you remove all the py and pyc files containing the name "Arakne" ?

Any previous Shapes Folder is not compatible with 'shape-creator8'.

Just as well I had to reinstall Arakne as I decided to check all my plugins permissions and half weren't ticked. I obviously don't do paths very often.

I deleted one more time the shape creator (also the folders and files of the previous version) and reinstalled the new one. But it still doesn’t work. The error message still appears.
For the moment I give up. I’ll try it later.
Thanks for the help, Rod and Graechan.

Ella Louise, if you are sure you don't have any previous files of Arakne-path, try to make a cleaner to eliminate possible remains and close everything. Then when you start your computer install the new Arakne version. :) Luck!

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.

Which Windows and GIMP platform are you running? I am wondering if this newer version is not compatible with your platform/s.

I have this shape,
seen in the attachment below.
That I've made using paths that helps me create emoticons.
It's basically a circle made using 5 pixels, 2 pixels, 1 pixel and 2 pixels, repeated 4 times.
To create a circle of 15x15 pixels.

I was wondering if this shape could be added to the shapes available to the Arakne-path-shape-creator plugin?
Or is there a way that I can add it to the plugin and be able to us it as needed?
