Great idea.
Maybe a new section in Gimp Scripts and Plugins 2.9 ?
At the moment I really miss the capacity to run on two plugins in 2.9.3:
layerFx.py and arakne-path-shape-creator8.py (and the only reason I keep still version 2.8 - version 2.9.3 is stable enough for me).

is it possible that this last build does not recognize equivalent terms like "TRANSPARENT-FILL"?
Just starting the first tests and one of the scripts stopped when reading the statement (gimp-drawable-fill shadow-layer TRANSPARENT-FILL) with Error:(:1) eval: unbound variable: TRANSPARENT-FILL.
If so, better to wait next official release.

A previous samj build (commit 2cd687a) shows that constant as FILL-TRANSPARENT in the procedure browser so I would suggest it's one of the changes ongoing in 2.9

thanks, Kevin, nevertheless I would expect on-going builds to be able to run BY DEFAULT in compatibility mode, so to say something like "obsolete equ, please use ..." but still accepting it and running the filter. In this situation I guess I will not go on and stop trying to test this build. When the official release will be out, I hope there is a batch procedure to auto-convert all "obsolete" statements.
