They are tiny and don't take up much room. If I were to eliminate any, it would be just that last one of the b/w color swatch.

I scaled that large one to be the same height as the rest of them. It's wider but I can't get around that.

The zip file has the scaled one in it or you can download the single one.

Keep in mind that although it's not ideal, we could easily have all the tool icons uploaded to some other site and use the image tags to show them in posts.

I know it's not practical, but it's functional.

But I love the idea of having the GIMP tool icons included in the smiley set, and the transparent set certainly has my vote.

Yes, I'm going to be working on the Gimp Chat "To-Do" list over the next week or so and this is one of the things that needs to be done. It's a good idea.

I also want to revamp the existing emoticon list we have here now, maybe dump a few and add a few.

But hey Rod, you never use the built-in emoticons anyway. <|:=)

I'm thinking of using them individually in my tutorials!

Okay, two things.
1) Photo, you just gave me a couple great ideas.
2)We should hold contest for new user-made emoticons. For instance the best 3 get included in the default set and the next best 5 are included in the "More Smiles" set.

Contest or otherwise, any good emoticons can be submitted for consideration. If they are good and fit with the site theme, we can add them or replace existing smilies.

I've added the Gimp Tool Icons as emoticons.

You can quickly access them from posting screen by clicking the new link labeled (GIMP Tool Icons) located just under "View more smilies" link.

:airbrush :pencil :brush :eraser :colpick :chantab :scisel :colsel

These should come in handy. :gimp

While not very important, I notice that the Select Path emoticon, :sepectp , is seemingly misspelled ('sepectp' instead of 'selectp').

May be I should have posted this as New topic in GIMP HELP. Unfortunately I am not able to find the 'relevant button on either the forum or topic screens. They are just texts and do not take me anywhere!

Then scroll Down to Forum Topic and select Gimp Help.

Once the page comes up.

Yes it is a good idea,
which has been implemented.

:addcur :airbrush :alnbot :alncent :alnleft
:alnmid :alntop :alntool :anchor :blend
:blur :bucket :chantab :clone

Unfortunately,
it my not have all the tools,
that were added since this was implemented,
but that's what we have so far.
Until Me or someone else is granted the correct permission,
to be able to add the missing/updated icons.
