Nice work Wallace. I would love this one as a seamless pattern.

Love all your abstract shapes, Wallace !!
How did you create the nice bevels ?

I tried to create the requested pattern but struggled with replicating the bevel.
This is what i came up with, and now its a seamless pattern with the correct direction of light.

Thanks ! Please read my edited post again.

I read the edited portion of your post.

The bevel was made by accident.

However,
I selected the triangle,
inverted the selection,
added a layer above the triangle,
filled it with a darker color,
applied a Gaussian blur,
selected the triangle and again inverted the selection,
to remove the outer part of the dark layer.
Applied Color Curves set to Alpha and shrunk it on all sides.
Giving what looks like a bevel.

This was an experiment,
and I didn't really anticipate what was going to happen,
but it worked out in the end.

I also tried to replicate what I did,
and could only come close,
nothing that I did was spot on.

I often work like this,
and it's a shame that I don't always save the processes.
I'm going to take better care in the future.
to try and record my steps.

I see. Kind of expected you perhaps used a different script, but when i tried to recreate the effect i realized there was also some kind of inner shadow involved.
I really like the shading your triangles have !

The problem with seamless patterns is they always look too perfect...
I tried to add some randomness and texture with filtering, but it still looks pretty uniform.
No idea what to do with it beyond that. I guess its just "pretty".

This one looks more earthy. I like techy stuff !
But i can see you applied the pattern with more attention to detail compared to the first version.

You dont use any displacement maps on the pattern, do you ?

No displacement was used.
Just layer mode overlay,
and adjusting the shirts base hue/color,
to have it look the way I want.
Also moving the pattern or design around,
to have each element of the shirt.
Seem like it's a separate piece of fabric.

Here's a shirt,
made using OMG's design.

Definitely some cool triangular tessellations, Wallace. Like the feux patterns displacement work on the shirt too. :)

Thanks Lyle. :bigthup
No displacement used.
I guess it looks like displacement was used,
but it wasn't.
