Wow! Free food! I used to go to a wooded field not far from me to pick blackberries, apples and plums. It's so much nicer eating stuff you've picked yourself.

Your apples are quite a bit further along than our apples! This will be an off year for our apple trees....some years we get hundreds on our 4 trees. There are a few people in the area who we let come over and pick them by the barrel full to feed the deer. We also have cherries and peaches, berries, and grapes, I love home grown fruit and veggies!

Well... not a photo of mine but I found this on the internet... I can almost hear the raindrops falling onto the flowers.

A bit common maybe, but I think they're nice.

Definitely forget-me-nots. Along with the dandelions, they're trying to take over my garden:

I didn't know forget-me-nots were wild. I love wild flowers, especially trumpet shaped ones like foxgloves.

Paynekj,
I love your pictures, especially the detail in the dandelion photo. What camera and lens are you using?

Thank you.

I use two cameras mostly: A Pentax K10D DSLR with various lenses and extension tubes, and a Panasonic TZ10 compact (as used for the dandelion)

See my profile on dpchallenge for lens details: http://www.dpchallenge.com/profile.php?USER_ID=5364

Another example of the dandelions and forget-me-nots taking over my garden:

considering we didn't have much rain in April I have NO idea how the apples are even showing up!

we seem to be getting May shows now, so who knows? apples may grow big and ripen.

I wish I had more space for growing things to eat. I do love spring and watching everything just explode

Thanks Molly,
It had just rained. Plus now you've got me thinking, is this a tulip or a rose! I'm fairly certain it's a yellow rose, but I don't see any thorns on the stem, so now I'm not sure.
