Reading of Trolls - this is one of my recurring characters; I've done a few ... of Trolls before.

I experimented with brighter colours for this one.

This is to be a gift for print so feedback and critique is much appreciated so I have time to fix things!

GIMP + MyPaint.

Update: Changed arm and knees as well as refined the image a bit.

Griatch - you've done it again! I just love your trolls and only yesterday I was thinking "he should do more trolls." This is beautiful! Painted toenails and a decorated tail as well. Seems they can be quite sophisticated in your world.

EDIT: I just noticed her calf muscle looks a little overdone.

The whole lower left leg is weird... Given the way is start below the knee, it must be very bent to reach the foot.

Well spotted. I think it's a bit bulky as well compared to the right leg.

EDIT: Actually, I just looked at my own calf and it does bend inwards. There isn't that much adjustment to be made.

You literally thought yesterday that I ought to do more trolls?" O_o Well then, what a coincidence!

The muscle gets squashed in this position and thus seems larger. But I see what you mean. I lowered the contrast a bit to make it stand out less. Hopefully better now, thanks for the feedback! :)

I've seen her many times before Griatch and she still looks wonderfully done to me. One day you are going to create the book of Trolls or at least the escapades of the Troll girl. :)

@lylek

Heh, A "book of Trolls" does have a ring to it. :)

@ofnuts,erisian

The knee is a damn tricky anatomical structure from this angle. Even looking at a reference it's difficult to get the 3D structure correct! I have made some fixes to it now, hopefully better.

It looks a lot better Griatch. I'm all too aware of anatomical difficulties at odd angles in my own art. I've got a lot of catching up to do before I'm anywhere near your standard. You did a fantastic job!

Excellent!
I love the skin tone, looks something metallic.
It looks like you had to work much with the hair too.
I love that kind of paintings. I often see the David Revoy work.

@Erisian: Thanks!

@YAFU: Yes, green skin is an interesting challenge to do. :) Thanks for the comment!

Update: Changed the arms a fair bit along with the size of the legs. Also refined and added more detail here and there.
