Thanks Odin. Strangly enough, it's due to Drac's Metal wurx series that I can now do wood and plastic as well as metal. Stone and concrete...? I'm just going to have to work that one out for myself! :)

eeuw, what's that noise? ;)
great looking vinyl, brother! and great looking record player too. but if you kept your xcf this time i suggest you add some moving shines on the record, because it looks like only the centre of the record is moving - or is that just me being fussy?

AnMal - The shines don't move unless the record is warped. Look carefully at the left edge of the record as it spins.

Esper - 1. Circular selection, Desaturated metallic gradient in cone mode on a grain merge layer.
2. I tried creating grooves but couldn't make it work. I don't like using photo material or
other peoples stuff when I'm trying to create something from scratch. Thank you anyway.
:)

In a way you were right. I would have loved to have the gloss move a little up and down but it would have been too complicated to do.

Thank you Mokonafan. I am actually a musician and in the eighties I produced an album. Sadly I no longer have access to a playable copy but about 13 years ago I re recorded one of the tracks as a single. I still have the disc and an MP3 copy and I was half thinking of posting it as an attatchment.

Thank you Molly. :ffy

Oooh, you're twisting my arm AnMal. I'll give it serious thought and if I decide to, I'll start another thread for it. :)
