Hey guys, been real busy as of late and have hardly been on my computer due to it. Missed a lot since I was last on but I managed to whip up something I thought was cool.
Just got a free Ipod 4G and needed a background for it. Didn't really like what I kept finding, so I made my own.

why is it so dark ?

I used an old style wood look, and added some worn out look to go with my icon set.

the wood texture looks good and i like the worn logo and graffiti style text very much, but i can barely see it, had to paste it into my GIMP and turn the lighting up

does it look good in your ipod ?

Ya looks fine on my side, but I could see how it would need to be adjusted.

I don' t think it really needs to be lightened up, only a little if at all. One thing that bugs me a bit is the red line around the logo. First off it seems super precise and doesn' t really fit the worn out look of the logo itself. Also it' s not erased right at the parts where the white parts under it are faded away. With that I mean that it' s visible pretty much completely around the logo.
Still very cool and I like the graffiti look of the text alot!
