What's wrong with using IE9, Lyle? It's like 10 times faster. I have it for special occasions (some stupid websites want MS browsers only for some reason), although am totally Chrome and Firefox guy.

If I'm not mistaken IE9 only works on 64 bit machines. I'm switching between IE8 and Firefox because of several anomalies that only occur with IE8. I would try that first. I've had sites lock me up before using IE8 too but not if I use Firefox. I noticed that Firefox loads way faster that IE8 as well.
