Hem by mistake i just uploaded a couple of dozens of 2400X1536 hi res wallpapers in the same post , here viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6303&start=0

So that page may take very ,very long to load but you are free to use (not to redistribute without my permission but for personal use ) all the WP there

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6303&start=0

about derivative works i will probably agree if are substantial changes , if you don't forget the credit and to let me see what you have done ...
in case of doubt first post on GC , here in any case i will be not be too pedantic about

I was no longer satisfied with just making my own wallpapers, so I needed to move on to stronger stuff. So I made a whole Cinnamon theme to go along with the wallpaper.

dd- really nice it would be good if somebody could do a tutorial on how to make icons and then upload them or a theme.
AnMal - very nice and very glittery.

he4rty: thank you - the glitter effect isn't half as good in full size, though :(. i tried to improvie it with sparkles here and there but nothing really looks right. as long as i don't think of it as glitter i'm happy with it, though.

mokonafan: that's a cutie - and less dangerous to look at than lyle's hypnotic one :).

hm, i wonder if people ignore this because it's in this particular thread or because it's thumbnailed? i'm pretty sure it can't be that they don't like the picture in itself, because i'm crazy about it myself :). i know this is one of the best wallpapers i've made - but of course, that may be because i love textile crafts :hehe .

@AnMal: Don't stress, you haven't made it onto my ignore list ;)
I don't think it has anything to do with this thread being pinned.
Recently there have been lot's of new posts everyday and things are dropping of the 'board index' page pretty quick.
I always press the 'view unread posts' to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Art is very subjective, and wallpapers are a very personal thing. It wasn't my style (needlework is not my thing, and I don't usually comment if I don't have something positive to say) but as long as you are happy with it as you'll be the one staring at your screen everyday ;)

Wow, this looks so real! Are you sure this isn't actually a photograph of your jeans, lol?

fluffybunny: oh dang! i haven't made it to fluffy's ignore list yet and i've tried so hard :hehe ! i'm often confused by how different we see pictures - i love something so much and the rest of the world just shrugs and then once in a while i just hate something and everyone says it's fantastic. like you say, though, i'm the one who'll be seeing it on my screen and i love needlework and think this is most excellent.
2-ton: thanks! hehe, i wish it was a photograph of my jeans! i've stopped embellishing my jeans with embroidery because i wear them out so quickly these days, but even back in the days when i did embroider on them i don't think i ever managed to make them this beautiful. but i remember a pair that i made huge scottish thistles on, i still miss them!

So reading through the jewelry thread and feeling inspired have created this, went with another method for creating the text outline, background Pattern behind metallic hexagons by ek22 and also used espers metallic gradient on the text and hexagons.
