Thanks Lyle. By the way, what would have become G'MIC without all the work you did *here*, on GimpChat and on the Flickr forums, on testing, creating filters, finding bugs, proposing suggestions, experimenting filters again and again.. ?
This G'MIC release is a bit special for me because I feel this one allows me to reach a kind of personal achievement today. For two years, I always had a lot of ideas to improve (and break

) the G'MIC interpreter and processing engine. Right now, I'm really satisfied with the whole thing, and I wouldn't want to make huge modifications again (except building new filters of course, but this can be done without a need for updates).
This project has been something that has been started from scratch and has been built slowly (reaching almost 30000 lines of code today). So, really I'd like to thank you all, Lyle, Mahvin, PhotoComiX, Tom Keil, Karo, Zonder, and all other contributors and users, for your support since these two years, when I started to put the first lines of code. You have been a constant source of inspiration and motivation, and G'MIC would not exist as it is without your help (and we have a fantastic mascot !). The only thing I hope now is that the GIMP staff will provide some compatibility layers to make G'MIC working smoothly with the next GIMP versions. I'm a bit afraid about that, but who knows ?
