My Brother had taken this picture of Warick and the contrast between the two style periods of the buildings in the foreground to those in the background, made the background look almost like a picture, I'm sure that because it seems quite flat to the rest of the image it added to the illusion.

So armed with gimp decided to try my hand at creating something similar to what I could see.

Love the contrast between the b&w modern foreground and sketchy color background. Must be a very neat town to explore. Never would have thought to do something like this. Very creative idea, very well executed!
