Hi, Griatch here. I'm primarily a digital painter and has been using GIMP and other open source tools for many years. I mostly use MyPaint and GIMP together and has written a bunch of tutorials on the subject.
I'm a manager over at GimpTalk (I recognize a few people here as well), it's nice to attend a forum as a regular member too. :cu
Gimp Chat seems like a nice place the little I've seen so far. :)

Welcome Griatch,
It is an honor to have you here as a member. I have watched and seen many of your tutorials and they are great.
Beautiful sig by the way..

That has to be the first animated sig that I don't find annoying. ;) (I guess glitter isn't bad either) I usually don't like pictures that move while I'm scrolling but those birds are calming. Very pretty. :yesnod

Are you calling me back to gimptalk? I've been so busy, that's why I haven't been around as much as I would like to. But with a bit of luck things will calm the day after tomorrow.

Glad you found this place. It's a nice little cozy place next to its big brother.

So, are saying you're my electric sig makes you jittery? :coolguy I've heard that before...

I can always change it to flowers or something. :lol

Seriously, though. I really hate flash signatures, with audio embedded. You accidentally move your mouse over one of them and it blasts you out of your chair. :hehe

Actually, my sig was created using my Animated Lava Text script. You must be referring to an old electric logo script that I modified to work with GIMP 2.4 a while back, which I've since dumped from the other site.

I believe someone else updated the original electric logo script to work with GIMP 2.4 too, as well as added in an animation option.

I did put a little glitter disclaimer in my post just for you. ;) Yours is close enough to glitter. I hate "in your face" moving images as sigs or banners.

You know I was just kidding around with you. :hugme I agree with you though. I don't like too much going in sigs. It's just too distracting.

Griatch's animated sig is very peaceful though. I really like it.
