Okey another WIP, I'm not sure how many updates I will post but we'll see.
It's based on Italy that's why the Italian name, I don't claim to be good at Italian because I'm not so if it sounds weird I'm sorry! XD

In this picture the cloth looks kinda lop-sided but irl I don't see it like that....Hopefully it's just the picture and my eyes aren't playing with me. :S

Edit: I played with a ruler and yeah it was a but lop sided I fixed it but I don't have a pic atm I might take one an post later.

Anyways I hope you like it!

Sketch:
Image

Update one:
I worked on the foreground a bit and the bread, they vase is in it's formative phase atm.
The Cloth STILL looks a little lopsided in the picture I guess I'll have to look again.

Update one

27 Colored Pencils, 10 markers, watercolor paints, 2 watercolor pencils and a colorless blender pencil so far.

Update 2:
I added a lot here, I'm having a bit of a problem with the grape's vine blending in too much with the flag's green. D:
Hopefully it'll end nice, it's about I'd say 3/4ths of the way done abouts or so. xd

Update 2

So much stuff I'm feeling a bit lazy to count it all, but it's a lot! xD

Finished! - :
Okay so I'm looking now, and of course what do I keep my attention on? THE CLOTH! xD
Yes I think I fixed it the best it was gonna fixed. xD
I'm kinda happy with this, it didn't turn out as good as I wanted but... :| :hoh
Can't do everything as perfect as you wanna I guess. D:
I'll be adding a blog post with materials used soon and probably post it so everyone knows what I used.
For now... FINISHED! :paint :hi5

Thanks for dedicating your drawing to my country. :) Grazie.
I find it a nice and gentle example of a "Still Life".

Do you plan to color it with crayons or colored pencils?

mokonafan: this looks promising! i see what you mean with the table cloth being lopsided but that's a minor detail. you really have a great composition here, i'm looking forward to seeing it coloured - though it will probably make me really hungry looking at those grapes and the bread. reminds me a bit of being in italy a couple of years ago with crafts and design school and buying fresh fruit and bread every day.

Di Niente! ( I think that's you're welcome, if not I'm sorry if I said sth wrong!! >.<)
Io amo L'Italia! è vero bellissimo! I'm not gonna push my limits with Italian and just answer your question now. XD

I will/am using Colored Pencils along with Watercolor paints and markers. I'm a very mixed media type of gal. xDD

I have another drawing but the picture I have uploaded looks horrible compared to the actual drawing. xD

Going to Italy sounds nice! :D .. I'm sure that bread was the best ever, USA forgot how to make bread w/o preservatives in it and grapes w/o chemicals. xD
Though I'm sure in Europe you/they have real food so maybe you don't have to worry about it. xd

I'm glad you think it looks promising! The cloth is still irritating me! D: I have to keep using a ruler to fix parts and parts before I know it I'll just end up redoing whole thing and I could have done that to begin with! LOL

Thank you. :D :paint

Mamma mia
Sono molto affamato. E proprio emerge un bellissimo pane davanti a me eh .. Questa è una tortura!

Mamma mia
I'm very hungry. And just emerges a beautiful bread in front of me huh .. This is torture!

Mokonafan is a pleasure to see this creative process come to the steps. Able to enjoy that is a luxury.

The image recalls much Italy; colors and ingredients carefully chosen!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful new creation! :tyspin

mokonafan: all the food looks so lovely! really not a p8cture to look at on an empty stomach :). and the flag is just beautifully made, great work on making the fabric flow, sister! for once i'm not too fond of the background, though - i think the red and green of the background could have been less saturated to set off the red and green of the flags better - but all in all it's still a very well composed picture and a lovely sight :).

I wasn't happy with the background myself, the colors seemed to take away a bit too much attention! :hoh :gaah

I was literally clueless on what colors to add. - Oh well I can't do everything perfect. :(

I'm glad you liked it as a whole, though! :D

Here's the process pictures along with materials I used listed.

Moko, that is thoroughly delightful. Makes me think of eating in an outdoor cafe in Italy. I love it. Image
