I won't be on here for awhile got court and legal issues to deal with. Long story short, really bad acid trip (First time taking LSD too).

I still don't know what happened (I just remember bits and pieces of the bad trip), but the hospital/medical diagnosis included LSD reaction, abnormal brain function, elevated white blood cell count, and metabolic disease. I don't remember anything about getting arrested other then waking up in the ER naked with a catheter, and an IV in my arm. My vision was blurry but eventually came back.

I'm being charged with resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer. The initial charges also included disorderly conduct and damage of public property which evidently got dropped but don't know why. I've been out of jail for two days and going to go back to the neighbourhood where I got arrested today and apologize about the disruption and any trouble I may have caused. I also hope that the people in the neighbourhood that I apologise to will help me remember what happened, what I was doing, saying, acting, etc:

These past two days I still have a throbbing headache, and muscle pain/aches. Still beats being in a cell. As you can see I got a lot to deal with and do atm. I may still design and develop on the side, but that's not really my focal point. So I won't be on here for awhile.

Will sorry to hear about that Mike; you live in a state that literally is going down the toilet too. Wish you had an opportunity to leave since Michigan isn't looking pretty right now, especially Detroit. Take care man and hope all goes well with you.

His profile says Illinois did I miss something? Michigan isn't that terrible...it's recovering from a terrible Mayor that killed Detroit and then the US car market crashing really didn't help the situation.

Well Mike this is why we make mistakes. So ourselves and others can learn by them. ;)

I agree with conbagui and God bless you Mike!
From what I've been told (by asking someone) Acid makes you happy not violent, if that's the case they gave you a bad drug, and possibly set you up.

All the same, I hope things work our for you! :>

P.S: Yes he's From Illinois. - But that whole region is messed so... :\

You have my sympathy. I was foolish in my teens and I know what a bad trip is like. It put me off for life and I hope it's done the same for you. It's really not worth messing with that stuff.

I didn't even realize people took acid anymore...it was big in the 60's, I used to watch friends take trips...I guess I could be considered the "designated driver". I never wanted to not be in control, I guess that saved me from getting into too much trouble. Good luck, it's all water under the bridge so as the popular poster says...'keep calm and carry on'.

Look out for you Mike and I will be praying for you too. I do hope your visit to the neighbourhood where it all happened (supposedly) goes well.

Thanks everyone. I went to the neighbourhood yesterday and talked to a few people about the incident and apologised. I found out that one of the houses my sisters friend Matt's family lived at and they were the ones who dropped the damage of private property and disorderly conduct once they knew it was me. Went a whole lot better than I expected. They told me how I was acting, what I was doing, and what I was saying during my entire trip.

I finally got my GED in the mail 2 days ago with the certificate along with mail from attorneys who want me to hire them. Which I'm not doing I can't afford it, and I'm just going to tell the judge the truth, everyone makes mistakes, and this won't ever happen again.

So tomorrow I'll be doing more job hunting, I hope I can get one before my court date as I can just pay my debt or do community service. If I'm found guilty, and if the judge decides I'll spend 100 days in jail. My total bond is $1,500. If I can get a job before hand I'll go a whole lot better and I can just pay it off as time goes on. Just all depends on how court goes.

mikethedj4, I'm proud of you for going to your neighbourhood. :bigthup

Here's an interesting quote about turning liabilities into strengths.
"Luck is everything... My good luck in life was to be a really frightened person. I'm fortunate to be a coward, to have a low threshold of fear, because a hero couldn't make a good suspense film." (Alfred Hitchcock)

As in a Graduation Certificate.

I filled out a bunch of apps today. I hope to get a job in auto repair to gain some experience that will help me in the future but also career opportunity. O Reilly Auto Parts/Repair is walking distance and they have good history hiring and training youngsters like myself, and so does Gerber which is about 3-4 mile bike ride from here. I still have a bunch of apps to finish. Hope I get a job at one of these two places but anything is better than pure commission. Just hope I just hope it's before my court date I just gotta keep trying and hustling.

There's a lot of inspirational quotes I can put down, but to lazy to do it lol I will put one of mine down that I tell me friends and family which helps me.

Turn your greatest weakness into your strongest asset and then do it again because if you don't train insane you won't remain the same!
