Okay so I tried to post this earlier and it didn't go through so I got more done since then. xD

This started off as a pencil Sketch, but I colored it in MyPaint and GIMP.

That is really beautiful Moko. I love the way you've done her hair.

mokonafan: lovely picture! i fell for her clothes immediately, pink and with a lovely print :). hmm... maybe the contrast between light and shadow in her face might be a little bit higher, just to give her face some definition? i'm not sure, though. i agree with molly about her eyes and the flower in her hair is a very nice detail. i get that book illustration feeling again, sister - one day maybe you'll write a book and illustrate it and then i'll buy up all the copies i can get my hands on.

:hi5 Thank you! :>
I was rather happy with her hair myself. :hehe
I was going to have her have a tight braid but when the brush I used made it have the loose strains in it I kinda figured it looks a little more natural since her hair was kinda loose anyway. I'm glad it cam out nice. :D

Thank you! I used the watercolor 2 in MyPaint for the light colors on the "bottom" of the eyes in case you wanted to know. :>

:hi5 I was actually thinking of you when I made the clothes, I was like....hmm...AnMal and Erisian both like Paisley and Indian people are known for that...perfect! :D
Aha if I ever write a book I'll be sure to let you know. xD
I thought she could use a bit more definition in her face but eh...I didn't want her to shine like a piece of metal which once I get in to it she would have ended up being like. XD
So...yeah.. xD
I like to combine nature when I draw, I don't know why... o.o..so yeah explains the flower...that and it looked empty without it. :lol

Anyways... :tyspin :tyspin :D
