This is the starting off of a new project for me, I finished the 3rd painting for the commitment (I'll post it later I feel laze atm. LoL) so here's a new painting project w/o the pressure!
This is my first drawing of a girl/lady/woman from a behind type pose, needless to say this took me hours! I used Christopher Hart's "Figure it out" book for some help, and also "How to draw manga" by Katy Coope for drawing her face although the reference for the more real looking face was from C.Hart's book. None of the positions I looked at looked like this almost at all, only minor similarities. The pose is from my head! lol - There was nothing for how her feet should look so I had to mentally look at how the body moves and figure it out, if I tried to physically try this post I'd be broken in pieces on the floor and you'd have to sweep me up. LoL
I still have to add details on her dress and fix up her hair until I like it better.
But yeah anyways I shall shut up and get to the picture.
Asi Ella Danza - So she dances. I took it from Josh Groban's song title and tried to make it Spanish. xD
Emphasis on "tried".
...Anyways shutting up now! Enjoy!

Blog post can be found here, although it's essentially the same as this post. Update 1:Sketch is finished!
Okay so after hours and hours...did I mention hours? of work I finally came up with a background!
Why I picked out grapes I do not know but I like it so they stay! xD
The rainbow type thing in the corner was inspired from this drawing.
I'll only post one of the close up images here, for all close up images click here.

Update 2:I worked a long time today, but I think I need a break for today!
This so far has taken me about 5-6 hours, I used colored pencils and paints the most, with just using a few markers, I'm happy with it so far! I don't know why I always have multicolored hair in my drawings but okay don't argue with inspiration! xD

Update 3:I worked a bit more on the dress, the shading on her face just will no cooperate with me.

I also added the foundational colors for the rainbow and colored in the vines, although I think they need a little more work.
I've been working a bit with a brush on sealant trying to get the stuff to shine a bit more. It's a little hard since every time I wet the watercolor some of it comes up, I prefer the spray sealant. So far I haven't used anything new same stuff, only thing I'd add is the white pen and the sealant. Time taken about 20 hours give or take.
