I am Pranav (my real name) from India. Photography is my hobby. I have been using Gimp for my photo processing needs for the last 2+ years. I believe in openness and so I release most of my works on flickr under CC license :-)

I heard about Gimpchat from PhotoComix in the flickr forums. Thanks PC! Now that Gimpchat is accessible from India, I want to frequent here as well. Looks like there are many knowledgeable Gimp users here and that means a lot of learning and fun for me :-)

Welcome to Gimp Chat, pranav. I'm happy you joined us. Image

I'm very curious about the photo PhotoComix used to demonstrate his filter. It says pranav at the bottom. Is that some of your photography?

@Oregonian - the portrait pictures are not by me. he used my name because I initiated the thread on G'MIC forum on flickr. PC used my pictures in few demonstrations for example like the one below :)
