University in Autumn (WIP 2, 4 September)

4 Sept. Update 2 at bottom of page 1!

Just in time for the new school year: The University of Locana from my writing projects, An Ember in the Wind and Mara of the Ori.

Currently at 6 hr.

Looks good so far!
I think the back half of the building looks a wee bit twisted, and if the trees will be filled out but in that style I think they look a bit too differing in style to the building...But time will tell!

I should probably prop it back up

I built a 3D model of the structure, but the third vanishing point isn't as low as I intended. I've had success fixing these sorts of things with GIMP. I'm still using MyPaint, so once I export to GIMP, I think that'll be fixed.

waiting for the black spot to become a lake for the rest everything looks fine,the trees the building, the foliage.
Only the black spot disturb me, obviously i see his function in a wip contest , but to give a more articulate opinion first i need to see the lake, if not finished , at least in a more advanced stage

Also i can't say much on prospective and lights because the future lake, actually large black, spot confound the perception of the prospective and the contrast with its darkness

Wow, Merrak that is beautiful. The colors are outstanding. That is exactly the way the trees will look here in this neck of the woods in another month or so.
